DDB Chicago and The American Cancer Society Win Gold at the 2016 Jay Chiat Awards
4A’s Jay Chiat Awards announced that DDB Chicago and The American Cancer Society received Gold in the Nonprofit category for the “Advantage Human” campaign.
For 20 years, the Jay Chiat Awards have recognized the best strategic thinking in the marketing and advertising industry. Judges evaluate submissions looking closely at the strategy and planning that lead to a successful creative campaign.

Communication Arts 57th Annual Advertising Competition
Communication Arts magazine announced the winners of its 57th annual advertising competition and DDB Chicago was named one of the “Top Six Winning Agencies”. The Chicago office had four winning entries in the competition.

Clio Sports Awards

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity
DDB North American agencies in Chicago and Canada totaled seven Lions at Cannes for their work on campaigns for clients Mars Incorporated, J&J’s NEUTROGENA Men, McDonald’s and Netflix Canada.
Radio Mercury Awards
DDB North America won three honors at 2015 Radio Mercury Awards. DDB Chicago took home two Mercury awards for Mars Incorporated brands – Juicy Fruit and Skittles. In addition, Miami-based Alma DDB won “Best Spanish Language Campaign” for Clorox Liquid Plumr.

DDB Canada recognized at Marketing’s 14th annual Media Innovation Awards. This awards program is considered Canada’s most prestigious.
Advertising & Design Club of Canada
DDB Canada was presented with a Scarlet Letter and was named Interactive Agency of the Year by the Advertising & Design Club of Canada at the 64th annual awards show Directions.” The Scarlet Letter prize is an exclusive award that recognizes excellence in interactive media.
DDB New York is the most awarded US agency at the 28th Annual London International Awards. The agency took home three Gold statues, five Silver statues, and four Finalist honors for New York City Ballet’s “FAILE: Art Series,” WaterisLife’s “Hashtag Killer,” and New York Lottery’s “Invasion” and “Writer’s Room.”
IABC Silver Leaf Awards
DDB Canada’s Edmonton office won two IABC Silver Leaf Awards of Excellence for Alberta Health’s Healthy U campaign. The agency’s work took top prize in both the Advertising Campaign and Government Communications Programs categories.

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity
DDB North America took home 15 Lions, including a Gold in the Cyber category from Tribal Worldwide’s Toronto office for McDonald’s Canada’s “Our Food. Your Questions.”
DDB Canada’s Vancouver office received a Platinum trophy for the integrated Canadian Tourism campaign, “Canada Keep Exploring.” In addition, DDB North America offices garnered two Gold, five Silver, and two Bronze.
DDB North America earned 13 awards across 11 media, including Hall of Fame honors in the Film and Print categories for Volkswagen’s “Snow Plow” and “Think Small” campaigns.

DDB New York won two Gold, six Silver and three Bronze at the New York Festivals. NYC Ballet’s “Faile, Art Series” garnered seven of these awards.
The One Show
DDB North America took home one Gold, three Silvers and one Bronze. DDB New York’s “Hashtag Killer” for WATERisLIFE garnered half of the wins.
DDB Chicago and DDB California were awarded Silver Effies for work with McDonald’s and STP, respectively. DDB New York took home Bronze for its work with Georgia-Pacific.
