McDonald’s and DDB Chicago Want to Send Kids to the Rio 2016 Olympics
DDB Chicago has launched a new global campaign for McDonald’s this month. McDonald’s is rewarding 100 kids from around the world with the opportunity to participate in the 2016 Olympics Opening Ceremony in August. The program titled “McDonald’s Olympics Kids Program” revolves around a unique opportunity for children from over 20 countries to come together in Rio and join the excitement of the Games.
To celebrate the Olympic spirit of friendship, McDonald’s is seeking kids who embody the spirit of friendship to represent their countries. In the new film, McDonald’s announced the program for local markets and invites consumers to send their kids to the Olympics in Rio. The film will also serve as a recruitment mechanism that will allow each regions to run a contest for kids to win the chance to participate in the Opening Ceremony. You can view the film here.
